Sofie was an active Board Member of Business Retention and Expansion, Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, Peterborough Women's Business Network and for the 10 years a Marketing & Community Collaboration Judge for the annual Economic Developer Council of Ontario Awards.

Her own company focuses on Corporate Digital Marketing Education. She is recognized as digital marketing leader in various communities including; economic development, Chambers of Commerce's, small business enterprise centers, fortune 500 companies and the online business community. Her practice is focused on digital marketing training for both small, large, local and international companies.
